Speak Out

   Letter to GuragaonAdministration,

Dear Gurgaon Administration,

I am writing this letter for your recent decision taken to stop Rape cases in Gurgaon.

I work in a pub till late night, we face many people on daily basis. Some are good, some bad guys, some lusty fellows and some really smart asses. Yes, i appreciate your decision to curb Rape cases but you must have closed your brain while taking this decision.

Do you think that a Rapist wait till 8 and then he goes on a hunt? Do you think that working in a pub makes me more vulnerable for them? Do you think that such stupid decision will keep our moral and confidence high towards administration?

Does your mother and sister got raped when they walked out after 8?  Any women CM or PM ever got raped when they were on their visit during election at late night?

You have banned us and but have you ever thought how badly it will effect our professional as well as mental life?

Why not banning Men to come into pub after 8?

Why not provide enough security to us?

Why not give us enough reason to have faith in police and in system?

Why banning  the so called "Fairer Sex" is always a solution?

If you have any answer, please let us know and we will quietly sit in our home to follow such orders.

Yours Truly

A Woman(You can fill it again with your convenience)

Child Abuse

It was my first horrified incident I came across when I was hardly 8-9 years old. I went to Firozabad with my family in my cousin’s marriage. All my cousins more or less of my age were gathered to make that wedding week more enjoyable and worth remembering.

Out of them I had a great bonding with one of my cousin’s friend aakash who was double the age of mine. We all nearly 8 9 siblings used to play in the dark corners of that hotel we stayed.

On the very third day when we were playing, aakash offered us to play hide and seek, everybody agreed readily for it. He took me into his team and offered me to hide in a dark and clumsy room in the basement, being innocent and childish I went down with him. He locked the room from inside and holded me as tightly he could.

I was totally aware of his intentions and thought this is a part of the game. His next step was to make me lay down on the floor and he somewhat tried to undressed me, I was feeling a bit uncomfortable but I was not knowing how to resist it and how to show my denial to him. But to my good destiny my all cousins caught us and I was saved.

Nobody asked me and I told nobody that what was happening there because I myself was unaware of it but when I grew up I came to know that actually this is called a sexual assault , a child abuse.

Since that day I have never been able to face that guy, although I didn’t do anything , but I feel myself as a culprit as I am the one who acted so stupidly at that moment of time . if I had been wiser, I might have never went to that place. But what is good and important is that “I escaped that day”.

  Respect at stake

Millions of dreams in her eyes and unbounded wings of hopes, this was the best line which could define her. 1st year of her college was over and she was spellbound with the fact that she has managed to get a summer internship in her native city, now she can live along with her parents and can meet her love of her life whenever she wants as she was in a serious long distance relationship. Knowing this She was filled up with enthusiasm and zeal.

Her office was a newspaper editorial office. She used to spilled up  the whole environment energetic, even her workplace. Her all seniors were very happy with her and she had became the favorite of all. In short everybody loves her and she loves everybody.

But who knew that very soon she is going to face such mishaps that could change her life from sober to simple.

As usual it was a simple normal day, she reported in the office exactly at 11:00, she checked her fb account as usual. But suddenly the phone rang up , it was from the radio station, set up at third floor in the same building in which she work. she was befriended by an RJ  three days back.

They met thrice that too on the foot steps of the office doors , but when she got a ring from him, she was bit surprised. The RJ asked her to come to him as he need some assistance from her regarding creative accounting.

Till that very time no seniors have arrived in her office, so she can’t deny that RJ and in a moment she ran upwards. She entered the Studio.. but she saw nobody apart from that RJ. She was doubting that something Is wrong but was not able to sense it. The rj asked her to come in and sit his cabin, she followed his instructions and got seated in his 4 walled cabin.

The RJ entered and locked the room from inside. She immediately got alerted that something is wrong here. She queried what he is upto, and there it begins the war of cruelty and innocence.

He tried his every bit and corner to get attach with her. He was literally killing the soul of that girl.. at first she strongly opposed, denied and fought against his dirty wishes and desires but after minutes of fighting , kicking and shouting back, she surrendered, she was tired of shouting, as nobody was there to hear her plead. She was bathing over with tears and her crewed destiny.

But it was her luck and her belief in god that RJ’s phone rang, he went a little far away from that girl to receive it and that was the moment she opened the latch and came running downstairs.

This incident was never reported to police, not even to her parents and her seniors. Still, its upto her and her boyfriend that what happened there in the Radio Station and what might had Happen if the phone bell haven’t rang. This might be a crude example of something which happens with every girl and the moral of the story is self explanatory.

Be Brave Enough

Few days back while travelling by metro feeder, I had an encounter with five gunde guys who wete tall and strong. They got into the bus when I was already sitting at the back with a friend of mine.

The moment they entered the bus started creating mess by their non sense talks. They passed comments on people who didn't bother at all. Even I was sitting quiet. But suddenly one of them pointed at me and started laughing.

First I ignored but when he passed comment on my clothes I stared at him with anger. To which all his fellow friends joined him and began laughing like idiots. I was filled with anger and asked them to stop behaving that way.

But this was not enough and they began abusing. My friend told me to ignore and stay calm. Because I can't listen wrong and non sense things arguments began amongst us. The most surprising thing was that there were around 10-12 people in the bus and not even a single person uttered a single word. All were watching like a movie is going on for their entertainment. This is what a biggest drawback of our society. People just watch and don't react.

I just want to say to every girl who faces such situations that don't be scared because if you are afraid they are encouraged to do so. Instead of keeping quiet react to the situation. Being a girl is a curse? No, we are the biggest asset and soul of this nation. So, c'mon beautiful angels step out and live like free birds and fight back when surrounded by any cage.

Be a Responsible Citizen

This incident happened with me while coming from the metro station to my home in a rickshaw. The time would be around 7.30 in the evening and I was in the very next lane of my house.

The rickshaw puller was quite irritating along the way and then suddenly he stopped somewhere, and told me to get down the rickshaw. He told me that I have brought him too far, addressing a wrong place.

He started talking very rudely, but I told him to leave me outside my house, then only I will give him money. He tried to approach me; he took off his shirt as he saw the road was a bit isolated. When I raised my hand to hit him, I was surprised to see him yelling and collecting the crowd.

At that time I was a bit embarrassed while he was yelling but since I couldn’t let this happen, I got the people around in my favor, and told them what exactly happened. Much to my surprise, I didn’t have to do much, and I easily escaped the place, seeing the people hitting him.

Dirts Of the Society

It is one of the worst experiences of my life. It was the time when I was just in 6th standard...there was a narrow lane which I use to cover to reach home. Once I was coming from school...I was passing through that narrow lane and suddenly a man near about 25-30 came in frond of me and just for a few seconds he stopped his bike in front of me.

I was scared like hell and didn’t knew what to do.. And just in a flick of second he pressed me with all his power and as i shouted cause of pain he ran away.

I was so scared that for few days i was not able to attend school...i stopped passing through that lane....but that day i actually came to know that I AM A GIRL..AND MY SERVIVAL IS NOT THAT EASY IN THIS SOCIETY...IHAVE TO FIGHT FOR SERVIVAL...FIGHT WITH THESE DIRTS OF THE SOCIETY...

                                                     Is your Campus safe enough?

It was around 7 P.M and was about the end of my final Year when I was sitting with one of my Friend at DU metro station. A gal was standing there. She was waiting for the bus. We saw some boys were coming to the bus stand. They were abusing each other and were laughing as if it’s a matter of pride.

They stood near to the gal and passed few lewd comments. She ignored once but it seemed as it was the motivation factor for them and they started passing more lewd remarks. I know those who are Delhiites must have seen such activities in or around their society.

We felt really bad and were thinking as how to help that gal and suddenly I realized that I saw a PCR near on the road next to us. We moved their and told the Cops about the Incident. They were very approachable and agreed to help that gal out.

They moved their PCR there and after seeing PCR coming, all the boys flew away. That gal boarded the Bus and moved away from the metro station. I hope she have never faced the same situation again in her life.

Most people afraid to approach the COPS and hence the things turn ugly sometimes. Be a responsible citizen and help Gals. It might be the turn of our own Relatives, who knows. So better to Fight against such Rowdies and live in a better and peaceful civilized World.

India is a Democratic Country but don’t take everything for granted and Respect Women because they are the Creator as well as the Destroyer.
